Gymcatch allows you to sync your booked classes to your device’s calendar, making it easy to keep track of your fitness sessions. If you are experiencing issues or need help setting up the sync, follow the instructions below.
Enabling calendar sync
To sync your Gymcatch bookings to your device’s calendar, complete the following steps:
Open the Gymcatch app on your phone (iOS or Android) and log in with your credentials.
Navigate to the Profile tab.
Tap Settings.
Select Calendar settings.
Follow the prompts to grant Gymcatch access to your calendar and enable the sync.
This synchronisation works as a one-way sync from Gymcatch to your calendar. Once events are synced, Gymcatch cannot modify or delete them in your calendar. If you wish to edit or remove calendar entries created by Gymcatch, you will need to make those changes directly in your calendar app.
Troubleshooting sync issues
If your bookings are not appearing in your calendar after enabling sync, try these troubleshooting steps:
Disable calendar sync in the Gymcatch app.
Log out and uninstall the Gymcatch app from your device.
Re-download and reinstall the Gymcatch app from the app store.
Log back into your account and re-enable calendar sync.
When prompted, authorise Gymcatch to access your calendar. If no prompt appears, go to your device’s settings to ensure Gymcatch has the necessary permissions.
After granting access, disable and then re-enable calendar sync in the app.
Wait for up to 24 hours to see if the bookings begin to appear in your calendar.
