Can a customer cancel their own membership?

A customer can cancel their flexible membership at any time when logged into their account. Fixed memberships can only be cancelled early by a business admin or automatically by the system after 2 failed payments.

When a customer cancels their flexible membership, the system will set the expiry date of the membership to the end of their current billing period. Any sessions booked using the membership that take place after the new expiry date (i.e. in future billing periods that will no longer take place) will be cancelled.

Customers can easily action their membership cancellation by following the below steps.

On the web:

  • Log in at Gymcatch.com/app

  • Navigate to the business’ Packages page

  • Click on the membership in question

  • Show usage and billing history

  • Cancel membership

On mobile:

  • Log into the Gymcatch mobile app

  • Profile

  • Package purchases

  • Tap on membership in question

  • Cancel membership
