Why don't email addresses show in my draft email when I click the Email attendees or Email customers buttons?

If email addresses don't show in your draft email when clicking the Email attendees or Email customers buttons, then it's likely you’re using an email client that doesn’t recognise the industry standard syntax for populating email addresses.

For example, Outlook uses ; rather than , to separate emails, but you can update that setting in Outlook should you wish. There’s a third-party article on how to do that you may find helpful here.
