On Gymcatch you have the ability to integrate a GymcatchPay, Stripe and a GoCardless account and choose exactly which items they’re available as payment options for.

In this article we will outline the benefits of each online payment processor so that you can make an informed decision for your business.

GymcatchPay*

  • Secure and fast way to accept credit and debit card payments online with competitive transaction fees. Available for all items on Gymcatch.

  • Enjoy automatic payouts to your bank where you’re in control of your payout timings.

  • Ideal for one-time payments, as GymcatchPay enables instant transfers from customers’ accounts using their card or digital wallet details.

  • Access your GymcatchPay dashboard seamlessly within your Gymcatch admin portal so everything you need is in one place.

  • Accept payments through Apply and Google Pay.

*Presently, GymcatchPay is only available for our UK customers but we anticipate adding support for other countries soon.

Stripe

  • Quick and easy way to accept credit and debit card payments online with competitive transaction fees. Available for all items on Gymcatch.

  • Payouts automatically sent to your bank account quickly and securely with the ability to control your payout timings.

  • Great for one-off payments as Stripe takes instant payment from the customer’s account through the use of payment card details.

GoCardless*

  • Simple and easy way to collect Direct Debit and instant bank payments online with competitive transaction fees. These direct-to-bank payments are available now for our Memberships bolt-on feature and IBP support on other items in Gymcatch will be coming soon.

  • Receive payouts from direct debit payments within 7-10 working days for new customers and within 3-5 working days for existing customers and receive any IBP payouts within 1-2 days.

  • Best suited for recurring billing through the use of direct payment from a customer’s bank account.

  • Stronger payment collection success rates and fewer chargebacks.

*Presently, GoCardless is only available for our UK customers when using the Memberships bolt-on feature. It is also temporarily disabled within the Android app after discovering that the advised technical approach is no longer fully supported. We plan to implement their revised proposal in the very near future.
