Gymcatch provides flexible options for managing free access to sessions. Whether you're looking to offer universally free sessions or allow specific individuals (i.e friends and family) to attend without payment, this guide provides step-by-step instructions.
Setting up free classes for all
To make specific classes free for everyone simply create a new session via the Schedule page in your admin portal using our Schedule article to support you or copy an existing session using the Copy an existing session button on the session creation page and amend where necessary making sure to enter 0 within the Price field.
Allowing friends and family to attend for free
If you want specific individuals to attend without payment, you can use one of the following methods:
Option 1: Add them manually to the session
Navigate to the Schedule page in your admin portal.
Click Details on the session in question.
Select Attendees.
Click Add attendee.
Search and select desired customer.
Click Add customer.
Option 2: Gift a one credit bundle
Create a 1 credit bundle that is kept in draft form.
Click on this newly created bundle from the Packages page.
Click Gift this package.
Search and select desired customer.
Click Gift this package.
Option 3: Provide them with a discount code
Create a 100% discount code using our Discount codes article for support. You may want to consider limiting this code to Specific customers and adding them to the user list to ensure that those who are not on the list cannot use it.
Provide the customer with this discount code for them to use when booking onto a session.
