Gymcatch has two ways in which booked customers can be marked as having been to a session.

Check In

The check in feature allows session attendees to mark themselves as being at a session from within the iOS or Android mobile app. This feature is best used when you want customers' to confirm their own attendance at sessions.

For customers to do this, they return to the event details page in their mobile app and tap the Manage bookings button. From 5 minutes before the session start time until 5 minutes after the Cancel booking button will change to Check in. This enables customers to mark themselves as having been to a session.

Please note that sub-profile accounts are unable to be checked into sessions.

Attended

The attended feature allows admins with the relevant permissions from the iOS or Android mobile app, or the admin portal to mark customers as being at a session. This feature is best used when you only want to keep attendance records based on the instructor's taking of the register (i.e. not rely on customers' marking themselves as present).

Admins can also mark sub-profile accounts as 'attended' a session.
