Yes, business admins can expire a purchased instance of a membership via the Packages or Customers page.

Admins will have the choice to cancel a customer’s membership immediately or at the end of their current billing period. With both cancellation actions, admins will have the option to automatically cancel all future bookings after the date of cancellation (whether that is immediately or after the next renewal date) that were booked using the membership.

Cancelling a membership will:

  • Set a new expiry date for the membership, either of the current date (expires immediately) or as the date of the next renewal (expire at the end of current billing period).

  • The Expired by reason will be set with whether the membership was cancelled by an admin or consumer.

  • The Last instalment date will be set as the date of the last successful payment the customer made for the membership.

  • Once the membership expires, any future billing periods will be marked with a Cancelled tag, as will the membership card.

  • If you select the checkbox to do so during confirmation, any session bookings that will take place after the expiry date will be cancelled. If the checkbox is not marked, these will be left as live bookings.

  • The customer will be notified that their membership was canceled by an admin, detailing the expiry date and if their future bookings have been cancelled.

To cancel a customer’s membership via the Packages page, click on the Memberships tab > click on membership in question > Package customers > search and click on customer > Expire this package > click either Expire immediately or Expire at end of this period > choose whether to have the checkbox next to Cancel all future bookings made with this membership checked or unchecked > Expire membership.

To cancel a customer’s membership via the Customers page, search and click into customer’s record > Purchase history > Packages > click on membership in question > Expire this package > click either Expire immediately or Expire at end of this period > choose whether to have the checkbox next to Cancel all future bookings made with this membership checked or unchecked > Expire membership.
