On-demand resource and package expiry dates are independent of one another, so it is not currently possible to expire access to an on-demand resource when a package used to purchase it expires.
One option to counter this is by selecting a shorter access period on the resource so that when the resource expires the customer can re-purchase access using the package whilst they’re still in the package’s validity period. For example, if you are using a pass valid for 1 month, you could set resource access to a period of 1 week.
This means that if a customer purchased access to the resource on the last active day before the package is due to expire, they would only retain access to the on-demand resource for a short period after the expiry date of the package itself.
